last week, FoB assisted a local gym in finding and repairing some older equiptment, their thank youote will be up soon. AND, we donated a 20 gas card to the Springfield animal shelter for their car show. Also, a check was sent to the Feed the Hungry program, sponsored by the News & Sun.
Keep your eyes out for the store comin this month, neat items found and/or donated to sell for the Foundation.
ALSO< need your input.... thinin about spreading the word through the local festivals, what does anyone think?
AND, last, but not least, actually the most important, next month is the 1 year anniversary of losing our CEO, Brandon. a memorial service will be held, location to be determined yet. but stay in otuch here, and on FACEBOOK for more details..
till then, remember, "life is too short, not to do something that matters!"
If you still have goods to sell to raise money, you can set up a table in the Village during our community garage sale, first weekend in July. They were talking about setting up selling areas either outside the municipal bldg or the park bldg last year for those who aren't near the main drag, so let the council know if you're interested.
